3AW just had the director of the trauma unit at the Alfred on the radio.
He said Graham is doing well and is obeying commands and that there has been no swelling in the brain. He said he is very happy with the progress considering the extent of his injury. He said he had a very severe knock to the head. He said being a fit young man has helped.
He couldn't say how long he would be in hospital for and what the final outcome would be as there has been some injury to the brain but so far it is as good as we could hope for.
