Maybe not irony, but the poster who uses one off footage and news reports that happen 10000 km away, then relates it to all police is just sad. It's sensationalism, and not a real reflection of police at all.

The difference being that you're making a wide generalised statement that police dont hassle people unless they're breaking the law based on your experience of it not happening to you- and then you're disregarding others based on that - that's incredibly small minded

There's a very cheap and easy way to deal with this.

Just have all cops wear body cameras at all times and then make the content publicly available after the legal processes have been extinguished.

I'm up for this, how about you?

What do you think about the cops & the government allowing this, do you think they would be up to compulsory recording of all interactions?
