I disagree with what Barnaby did but why has it taken him having an affair and running off with another bird for his exwife to whip herself into shape?

Considering how much strain being a politician puts on families, this would be a massive slap in the face to his ex wife and older children. In all seriousness, I hope he is able to commit more time to his new family. I don't like the guy, but I don't wish unhappiness on him or his kids.

It would be the right thing to do for the New England voters to give him the boot so he can spend time with family. He will still collect his pension
