That is so gay. Is that what you were trying to say pharro? Now i dont want to call you a hypocrite but have you looked at your wardrobe lately? ;)

No worries. I said some Hawk boys did drugs. I think i need a change anyway with the avatar.

Yeah I'll pay that. :D

Look what you've started;)

Yeah I know but this debate (when its actually about music) is exactly what I wanted. Though from the list I have now, the mix will probably end up with the classic cheesy stuff.

I'll keep the rest for later investigation.

Now when it comes to a debate on Prisoner, count me in...though most Poms can't remember the subtle nuances of the show. It was on at 11:30 on a friday night in the UK. Just enough time to get kicked out of the pub, get a fish supper and hit the couch in time for On The Inside (yes I know it was only played at the end...but as it didn't have a start theme i used artistic license)

Just do us one favour....no Girlfriend.

Please.

If nothing else but for the sake of your guests.

Props for mentioning the great Billy Thorpe and The Easybeats....but The Party Boys ? My god.

And I should Red Card you just for mentioning Uncanny X-Men.

But since you went there......Psuedo Echo, Kids In The Kitchen, Swanee, The Radiators, Dear Enemy, Moving Pictures.....need I go on ?

Party killers, every last one of them.

I'll second that and agree with TOD's main list - especially great to see the Cosmic Psychos and X mentioned - two of the best bands ever to grace stages in this land.

A few songs from the Psychos that are absolute essentials for an Aussie BBQ are; Custom Credit, Lost Cause, Pub, B.I.T., and Hooray F*ck!

And from X you can't go past; I Don't Wanna Go Out, Degenerate Boy, The Feel and TV Glue.

Also worthy of mention is Ian Rilen and The Love Addicts grab yourself a copy of Passion, Boots and Bruises and be amazed.

No Aussie Day BBQ is complete without some Girlfriend or Frente playing in the background while you chew on a lamb chop.

What? Do you want to induce choking/vomiting?

The Johnnys should also be added to this list and the post Johnnys work of Spencer P Jones is not to be missed.

If you want to add a little psychedelic ROCK goodness check out Dolly Rocker Movement, The Lovetones and Sand Pebbles (who feature ex St Kilda player Andrew Tanner).

Love(d) The Johnnys.

Posted a clip of "Injun Joe" on the original Basia thread.

Cool band. Spence is a dude.
