Carlton, Collingwood, Freo, Sydney, Geelong, Bulldogs... They're all better than port. What makes you think port will finish above at least 3 of these teams? If you have to come from behind to beat mediocre sides by a goal or 2, then you're simply not top 4 material. It's as simple as that. The only half decent thing you've done so far is to beat a struggling St Kilda.

4 goals, that's all it would take. 4 goals to your opposition, and you'd be well outside the 8 and struggling. That's not the making of a top 4 side.

In fact, I'll put money on it if you will. Hell, I'll even give you odds. Port will not finish in the top 4.

Your right, 4 goals would have made a BIG difference. But we stood up when it counted, maintained our pressure, and made sure we came away with the 4 points, on more than one occasion. That type of victory tastes pretty sweet.

We're every chance of finishing above Carlton, St. Kilda and Sydney, and although looking at their team on paper the Bulldogs should finish well ahead of us, it won't happen unless their form picks up. Freo are looking good right now, but you have to take into account the fact that they're Freo and therefore are every chance to start failing again at some point. Collingwood and Geelong are the only teams who will definitely finish above us. I don't think top 4 is likely, but it's possible.
