I'll let you overreact and carry on you'd think we haven't won Snafl game all year the way you lot are melting, 7 wins last i looked and the Camry allsorts have won 2 but they are all of a sudden bigger, stronger faster..... yea line up the train to panic station boards in five.

you missed fitter... they were today though. we were ordinary at best.

God what a bunch of panic-stricken bellends some supporters are

The players, by and large, are fine. The gameplan and structures were laughable.

I guess the positive is anyone who played today will fit straight into the way the Power have been playing this year.

Camries brought their own umpires again. One of their guys touches a mark for half a second and it's punched away....mark and 25. Butch tackles their player and swings him round 3 times while he's holding the ball but he's given enough time to get it away so one of them can score a goal. Like the Carlton game we played crap but the umpires also forgot there are two teams out there.

And what happened to Neade? No wonder he's not getting considered for AFL. 13 touches in the first quarter and a total 18 for the game.

The Crows had 2 forwards kick 3 goals. More than any of ours have managed in a while.

I'll give them Pods, an AFL grand final player at the arse end of his career, but Lowden? Really?

No way they are better then our guys, but today they played better and much better in the forward half.

I think at the end of the day the umpires mean little when we put up horrible performances.

BJones was the only highlight for me. Shows some run and carry and has aggression - he could be our small back - allowing Impey to play on a wing.

Pods and Lowden actually played in the forward line as genuine targets for long periods, whereas we had Harvey leading towards the Woodville Bowl.

The congenital desire to spring forth from contested stoppage situations in the middle and across halfback has replaced all semblance of pragmatic scoreboard-aware football.

I just got home from Alberton and f*** that was disappointing, smashed in the ruck, smashed in the clearances, non stop ridiculous handballs, behind a team mate, over his head, wide of him, to a player who had no hope of getting clear, or to no-one in particular.

F***** again by a bog standard zone, that apparently the only way through was to hang onto the ball for 20 or 30 seconds allowing the tingle's magoos to flood Port's fwd 50, and then bang a widow maker kick 30 metres into the air to a pack.

Geez we have got some very ordinary back up players, O'Shea, Stewart and Young did sfa, and if Byrne-Jones or Russell make at at AFL level I will be amazed, neither can lay or break a tackle in the snafl, so what hope would they have in the AFL.
I have seen more solidly built canarys than Byrne Jones, and Russell would get a game with the jockeys.

At least 3 goals were gifted to the tingles by shocking disposal, and another 3 by leaving a player 15 - 20 metres on his Pat Malone on the member's side half forward line.

Unfortunate to 'like' a quality post. Thankfully didn't travel from far afield.

You wouldn't mind, but I'm worried we're now seeing players at both levels having their development stifled by this unwavering fervour for The Gameplan TeeEmm.

If chipping it backwards, chipping it sideways and then chipping it forward to the initial spot where the chain started within a 15 second timeframe, only to then launch it to an undersized 2-on-1 contest towards the halfback boundary is Destination Premiership, I'll be the first to put my hand up and admit I'm wrong.

"The pride is south Australia" is now being sung in the Alberton rooms. If that doesn't convince anyone that the club is in serious trouble, I'm lost...
ouch

Our back line was woeful....all went to the contest no thought..Cam O Shea Clurey a real worry

As Coob and 1954 have already mentioned, we seemingly couldn't win a Center clearance despite our disposal domination. Neade, Byrne-jones and Stewart don't inspire confidence as clearance players.

And has Tribey pointed out, what is the point of marking on the half forward flank, holding the ball for 15 seconds, kicking the ball to the middle of the ground and then kicking the ball back to the forward flank to a contested situation?

The worst moment was Spud Atkins audible Yeah and fist pump when he scored his second quarter goal.
Second worst moment, seeing Phil Walsh's smug grin as he left the change rooms behind the ground at the end of the game.

Seeing Neade and Howard fail to make the distance from less than 40 metres on the run was enough for me. Agree with what others have said here - of that team today Amon is the only one looking capable of stepping up to AFL standard.

Amon

Was class by foot today.

Made stuff happen with all his disposals. Just needed a bit more of it.

We have, I believe, found two future AFL players in Logan Austin and Frampton. Really like what I saw re those two. In particular AUstin who looks a real player. Frampton is obviously really raw but has heaps of aggression and a great leap.
