100% agree the pre finals bye is a ******* joke on the game. Get rid of it.

The fact that you could reasonably argue that winning a prelim puts you at any disadvantage of a result of the bye means it shouldn't exist. Wasn't it implemented as a reaction to Ross Lyon resting players in a dead rubber once? Joke
