Only thing holding us back is Brisbane's ability to win a game. They may be one of the best 0-8 teams in history but at the end of the day they are still one and a half games behind St Kilda. And there is nothing to say the Saints won't snag a win soon. Last night they were challenging right up to the point they went 10 points down. There were still nearly a full two quarters to go but you couldn't see them winning. Once they get past that mindset they'll win games.
I talk about Brisbane's inability to win a game and ZOOM what happens. Anyone need a good luck charm?

Such a strange weekend for trying to evaluate our season so far.
Just shows that every win is valuable and needs to be appreciated.

Well done lions. They are actually quite nice to watch play. Uncomplicated, direct footy. A lot better than St kilda and Carlton, which are unwatchable.

Yeah I gained a lot of respect for them in Round 3. I’m usually as negative as it gets after close wins against shit sides but I left that game genuinely thinking that the margin was as close as it was because they elevated themselves to our level, rather than the usual us dropping ourselves down to theirs. Good to see them get one on the board.

Roger me senseless. I come back from Alberton and have a look at the scores and Hawthorn are 44 points down to the Lions at 19 minutes into the last quarter. This is good for us as St Kilda are now only half a game ahead of them. Unfortunately Carlton could keep St Kilda off the bottom with their percentage-draining loss to Melbourne today. With their last four wins being by a combined 253 points Melbourne have catapulted themselves to third.
Was the food good at the club :p

There are now only two players who have kicked at least one goal in every round, Jesse Hogan and Will Hoskin-Elliott. And Jesse Hogan's only goal came just 88 seconds before the end of the Melbourne v Carlton game.
