Of the 18 teams, 7 of the predictions are looking to be significantly out. Although in some cases there is the chance of a turnaround. The most obvious two are the low placings given pre-season to North Melbourne and West Coast who are, pardon the pun, kicking the arc's arse.
Geelong, notwithstanding their recent slip-up have been inconsistent as have GWS, although they have had considerable trouble with injuries. St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs were given a rating of just below or challenging for the eight which has not come about. The Western Bulldogs could pull off a miracle but St Kilda are pretty much gone.
The final one is Hawthorn who with pre-season chances of 26% and 47% now look likely to make the finals, although it may be from 7th or 8th.

It's not surprising. I'm sure they will do a minimal amount with them, but it's not Adelaide's way to admit a mistake was made and cancel the contract. They'd rather pay up still, do not much and then say how wonderful it was and if asked, yet again deny the pre-season camp was an issue.

Just heard Jack Viney talking on SEN - the Dees will be heading up to Alice Springs on Saturday for their game on Sunday, so that must mean they'll be staying on until Tuesday or so to get out and about and do all the community stuff, right?

Umpires running around with zero awareness into a players path has been going on forever I think the umpire should be suspended.
