Can't agree - IMO Fogarty will have a significant 200 game career. Has an elite kick for goal, has a fair dose of mongrel, and takes a contested mark. Once he builds his fitness he will be a valuable forward.

There's absolutely no way you can know if someone will play 200 games.

How?

What part of the uplift KT talks about is based on the SMA reported crowd figure?

Revenue from ticket sales and corporate packages is not reliant on the "official" crowd figure.
Part of the stadium deal post review supposedly is that the clubs get $2 per attendee. Now I dont know if there is a ceiling on that or some sort of scaling or other clauses that say its not as simple as 452,936 attendance in 2018 x $2, but attendance is part of the whole picture.

Just like old zero-AA's Taylor Walker, Fogerty will be hyped beyond belief regardless of his output. He might even be given a cult-like nickname and be spoken of in the same company as the absolute gun key forwards of the day like Walker is despite being little more than a good, solid contributor.

Hey Port faithful,

I spend a few weeks in Shanghai with your great club for the AFL China project.

I got to follow the team around everywhere and with that, was able to take some awesome insight into what a contending club looks like on the inside.

I'm a Carlton man, but I will forever have a spot for the Power after working with them for both Shanghai game snow.

Check out my review of it all here:

It's pulled from an article about the deal with the SMA. It's to do with the 'official' crowd figure.
I'm familiar with that article and there is no mention of revenue being linked to SMA "official" crowd figure. From that same article;

"Included in the deal with both the Power and Crows is the provision by the SANFL of additional reserved seating income and corporate inventory opportunities and incentives for playing home finals at the venue."

This, along with normal ticket sales, is the link to attendance that KT is talking about.

They'll pay him whatever he wants just to make a point "see, not everyone leaves the crows"/

I called it 18 months ago as the trade period nearly saw him go back then.

Pretty sure he's gone as Lewis Skolnick is taking up a fair amount of their cash in that pretend power forward role.

The article says we get a share of game day revenue and inventory sales. Not sure why a share of revenue would be worked out on a per head basis. I'd expect a percentage share would be fairer to both parties.

A per head payment would give the SMA a reason to under report our attendance but any money they save is lost by over stating Crows' attendances.

Those of us who are cynical about the SMA would say that is the point.
