If josh carr can get us playing like this , even if we don't get heaps of flags I'll take it , I miss leading forwards plays at Port
 
Dogs look super confused out there. Haven't worked out how to handle Geelongs outside speed and their intercepting defenders. Overusing handball but then under using it as a result other times. Just totally unsure how to play this.
 
They only called that a behind cause mic picked up a sound but I’m yet to hear how those mics can only pick up sound of ball hitting post and not any of the other many sounds?

There isn’t a “ball hits soft padding” setting on microphones. It just picks up sound, any sound.
 
Theres you gameplan folks, start with contested physical pressure around stoppage contest, win it at contest, feed it directly to outside run, long direct movement without overuse. Numbers back in defense by strong gut 2 way run. Forget pretty stuff.

Agreed, English is supremely soft and over rated. Frustrating as hell that he got hold of us like he did. He's generally been beaten by all our rucks, even Lycett.

Doesn't compete for the tap then stands around waiting for a handball recieve. Whats the point in a game like this.

Hope the Dogs don't run over the top of them given the short break and injuries.

That is a sick goal from Holmes, including the build up. Can't beat a running goal.
 
Also, how did Zac Guthrie turn into the player he is. Looked a deer in the headlights for his first 50 games.
