Probably why they haven't given contracts to some and/or only given low crappy contracts, example Brody Mihocek 1 year contract, to try and get them to seek a trade else where and get draft capital because they have bugger all draft capital this year.

Probably happy just to rebalance their list slightly and get some 32+ year olds off it.

Mihocek and Elliot are the 2 with value elsewhere. But they're free agents and too old to warrant compensation.
