I don't remember the first game but the second game was the Monfries bounce showdown and last one at Footy Park.

It was probably better & cheaper to go the AC/DC route with Bon's connection to the area than pay Hendrix's 'sister' whopping amounts to use Purple Haze.

I couldn’t imagine missing a day or two of work to get on a plane to see a sibling start a new office job after a promotion.

If they are going to help locals out with royalties I reckon they should play Eskimo Joe's effort for a new song in 2011 that Freo members voted on but rejected, at after games sometimes.

I don't mind it. It starts off with a bit of a sea shanty tune and has that fat horns sound like the GWS' big big sound song has.

I like the tune - for the line - And as the Cup goes up, hear the shouting.

I must admit I was surprised to see Dante there. I get it’s his brothers debut but he has his own game and spot in the side to fight for in less than 2 days. He is only just hanging on to his spot, and if we were to go back to one ruck he is probably out of the team. So it was an interesting choice for me.

Debuts are a bit overrated too. It’s not like it’s a gf, it’s just another game.

And Dante isn’t only just hanging on to his spot and he’s our opening Ruck on Saturday. He’s gone past Sweet.

Will be forever annoyed we didn’t pick up Vigs I’m certain we’d have used that pick after the Bombers picked him up on him.

As far as I'm aware Dante didn't run or cycle to the game. I think he jumped on a plane and sat there watching movies for a few hours. The worst thing that happened was probably him saying yes to a cheeky Magnum towards the end of the flight. He'll be fine.

It's become that because it is made a big deal out of because of the culture shift. 15 years or so ago you wouldn't see the whole team run the length of the ground to celebrate someone's first goal, etc. It was treated as just another thing.

Sitting for hours on a plane there and back probably isn't the best preparation.

If it is no big deal why do we constantly go on about the affects of travel on performance, with the WA trips always highlighted. Didn't Collingwood purposely rest players for their game against Freo?

It is always spoken about that is harder for WA players to rack up big numbers such as 300 plus games due to impact of travel on their careers.

I also doubt that a freo or West coast could ever win a flag from 7th or 8th where they would have to travel large distances 4 weeks in a row.

It's probably nothing but hopefully he isn't sluggish because that would be poor for everyone who approved it.
