I believe the biggest leg up Brisbane and Sydney got was the extra cash from the AFL each year.

Caltons list has been awful for years now.

Their list has been awful but also has the most top end talent they will ever see.

Weitering, Curnow, Cripps, then Docherty, Walsh, McKay. All hovering around the AA team whenever fit.

Curnow has only played 1 finals series. I guess there are some dodgy deals being done to keep these guys happy.

It’s not always the coach, they have always had some star players but their list falls off the cliff drastically.
