If Merrett and Ridley both go, with Draper already gone, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if Essendon hit the panic button and bring in Hinkley. The low bar of players like him and he makes the finals almost half the time would just about make him the greatest coach at Essendon since Sheedy
Hinkley won't save them and they aren't making finals.

Essendon's list is now way closer to West Coast's of the last few years than it is Port Adelaide's in 2013.

Many more years of pain ahead for them.

Rankine playing in the GF would be a PR disaster for the afl. Crows won’t care because they’ll be revered in SA only and it seems that’s all they really care about.

I don’t think that will be an issue.

Can’t see the Crows winning a prelim against Geelong in Melbourne. Adelaide didn’t win a game away from home against a top eight team this year.

That’s not about to start in the prelim.

Stranger things have happened, but still. Here's hoping them and the Dorks beat the shit out of eachother this weekend while Geelong put their feet up.

Yep anything can happen. Upsets happen all the time.

Beat to get the job done this weekend and listen to the blame game early

I’m not sure which team I would prefer to win that prelim.

Probably Geelong, just so we don’t have to put up with a smug Sam Mitchell or Steven Rowe.

So if the crows go out in straight sets, will the Advertiser obituary pages be full?

Will the word brave be used at least once every 20 words?

On AFL 360 last night Derrwayne said he had been working on it on and off for 20 years gathering ideas on his overseas travels.

About The Book

On the eve of their wedding, Jackson discovers something he can’t forgive about his fiancee Sara. As he tries to make himself disappear so that he won’t be found by her and her violent family, he connects with international art dealer Sebastian Lee who offers him an escape route – but at what cost?
Gripping and unputdownable, Killing for Sport is a high-octane thriller set in the world of international organised crime, from one of Australia’s best-loved media personalities.
