Why have the Vic media kept saying all week but more so since the start of this game how young saints team is? as if to somehow give excuses or something for not performing this year? They've had one of the easiest runs home after the bye and still a healthy squad overall only really missing King as a key forward. Would love for these same media people to say the young stuff about Port some times seeing as they are roughly the same age across the team. Only one player that boosts ports age slightly above saints is Boak. That and Port have literally all their injuries and key injuries specifically now and the ladder is 11th and 12th same wins. And there's people saying Port are in for bad years or rebuild stage yet they have far better talented list of young players and core then Saints. Essendon showing Saints up most of the game so far, feel for that defender on Higgins and Higgins milking frees.

Brisbane dominated that quarter 15 x I50s to 7 and contested possessions, but Freo had the same number of scoring shots 0-5 to 3-2. This should go down to the wire.

Agree, they are playing a virtual VFL side got to admire Essendon the last 2 weeks they have never given up against far superior sides on paper.
