Wondering about this, has anyone received an email from the club about gather round ticketing?

I’ve already found my code on the membership portal and am ready to get tickets tomorrow morning but find it odd I haven’t received a club email yet

My opinion is that the coaches should be the ones who vote on the best player. It isn't a coincidence that the AFLCA Award is more in line of the best players in the comp year on year, than that of the midfielder medal.

Meld the Brownlow into the AFLCA Award.

I like the idea that each team nominates their best 3 players, only 2 can be from each of defender, midfield/ruck and forward positions. And do the same with their opponents.

That makes 3-6 names for the winning team, same for the losing team.

Umpires then make their 3-2-1 from that list. Provided stats are according to their position (defensive stats, etc) to highlight their performance.

Puts the forwards and defenders in the mix for votes. Ensures that only best performers from each game get votes (no JHF 13 disposal 3 votes). Retains the umpires unique view of the game on field.

I'm miles back, not sure how I scored the lucky dip spot of 15k in the queue. 10 mins in and its gone down 600 and keeps asking me if I'm still there.

Lucky bugger, I've moved down 7000 in the queue, but still 8k away. 26 mins of waiting now.

17m to get my ticket, but the thing that gets me is I logged into my desktop first 19000 in the que. 5 minutes later I log into my phone and it's 3500.

I then get to the ticket stage and it literally won't let me put in my expiry date so luckily I had something in my samsung pass auto entry for my other card which I didn't want. But otherwise I had no way of purchasing the ticket.

Put in a virtual queue at 10:00am.

Down to 17,473 after 27 minutes
Glad I didn't login right on 10am!!!
Should be able to select tix by midday at this pace.
Usual Ticketek/GR clustertruck.
