Choco has been busy today. At the Port Gear Shop this morning, presenting the Fos Williams Medal this afternoon.

Gold Coast just became only the second team ever to not record a contested mark in a match. The last, and only other, time it happened was by North Melbourne in 2015.

The Norwood Oval game is all about the coffee shops and restaurants on The Parade. They're not letting that go. Wonder if the pie cart is up and firing for Gather Round?

Needs a tram line from North terrace tbh

And why haven't they been able to upgrade the oval? Too many nimby's? planning issues, financial issues? There's so much potential to boost crowd numbers at least to 15-16K

What constitutes a contested mark to CD? I watched a game I think it was that huge win against Sydney where Rozee in my eyes took a contested mark and it didn't register on the stats.

Norwood oval was a shit oval in the 60s and nothing has changed.

Actually can’t think of an SANFL ground they could replace it. Maybe Prospect?

Once they've finished all their renos I think Prospect would be a great spot for a gather round match.

Right now it's relegated to a training ground.

Not one game on FTA today that's pretty far-ked for the Norms 'n Beryls who can't afford kayo & have no clue about free ice creams on the interwebs.. well done AFL the gap between the everyman is growing nicely, perhaps some games should only be beamed into Burnside Village.

Canberra and Wagga are three hours apart. That's not gathering anywhere. Sydney and Canberra are 3 hours apart. This isn't gathering the teams in one place.

I think the one thing that would piss anyone off would be the street parking situation. Which is why I'd suggest tram services and get cars out of the area to appease residents.

Norwood oval definitely suited Sydney’s game style.
Suns on the right track but not there yet.
When you look close there’s only about 4 teams at the most that can win the flag.

Such an ugly clash of jumpers here. They really need someone at AFL house to be responsible for this - choosing the match day kit for both sides to give the best spectacle. You would never see two teams kitted out in those colours in the Premier Leauge or Serie A - just detracts from the game

The fire spitting I witnessed from locals when they compulsorily acquired homes along Portrush road to expand the Magill Road intersection was something.

Not even people losing their homes, people who now had a backyard that backed onto... a main road instead of a neighbour! The horror!

Anyone else have this annoying problem on the AFL app where you can't scroll through the list of matches? If I change rounds and go back sometimes it works again but then if I change rounds again I'm unable to scroll. I'll see if I can screen record it to show what I mean

I actually after the first quarter of this dogs hawks game just killed my kayo sub. Its not worth it like at all. Dont care enough about the footy, only watch a few games a week tops now. The fox commentary and coverage sucks. Did have it for F1 as well but that has gone to absolute shit too with the new rules plus lots on FTA.

So basically 46 bucks a month for "no ads" which isnt even true anyway. No value.
