my biggest pluses were Atley and LMac
Atley is starting to look v skilful and LMac played an important part of the win

Also showed how important Basti and Black can be

The panic in the last 10 minutes needs a good look at tho
That cld have been diabolical but it wasn't
Surprised posters aren't more concerned re Crows game than Cats
Cats we can and I hope will beat, Crows just stitch us up every #$% time

Positive:- Bwian Lake choking Drewy (WAIT !! ).........it may have woken us up to never to take schit ever again on the footy field, we may look back to this game in the clubs history.......with this group of players, that have "had limited" on field leadership throughout their careers so far.

Basti - played well last night but I have finally got him figured. He is a pure endurance runner with no gears. In a quick end to end game he is awesome, he churns out km after km at a good pace that not many can keep up with. In a stop start clearance game he has no weapon and can't compete. I'd trade him if we don't intend playing a track meet style game (which nobody believes can win finals). He has some value.

Just on Basti. What do posters think of the contest late in the last where the ball was kicked into space?
Bastis man outsprinted him and even though he had a good game I was disapointed in the effort.

Ben Brown who was absolutely stuffed in hindsight gave a 75 metre lead from the centre of the ground out to the wing just to provide an option late on. Caused a stoppage but the endeavour was outstanding.

He can't sprint. It's not his fault, not everybody has the fast twitch stuff in abundance. He has elite endurance matched to the burst speed of Sandilands.
