Look i'm extremely dissapointed with that performance so i decided to dig very deep and find some positives out of the game.

- Ben Kennedy, the kid can play. he has a sick side step and really stepped up when we needed him. I'm backing him in to be a permanent in our team this year and for the future.

- Sidey showing some leadership and stopping Grundy from giving away a free kick, if you missed it it's on the AFL website. But showed good leadership to come over the top and lay down the law to one of our young guys.

- Cloke's maintained form, look it was far from a complete game but he worked his ass off. Was the dominant forward in the first half and when the ball stopped coming to him in the second half he went back and did the hard yards defensively.

- Pendlebury's Brownlow chances, no one wants to see a champion go down in Ablett. But since i'm just looking for positives it really opens the door for Pendles to storm home and win it, should definitely be coming second at the moment.

Add some positives if you can because i'm struggling to find any more and i'm not in the greatest of moods.
 
I think Keefe found a way to fight back, but damn does he have jet lag in interstate matches.
Not much to write about, we didn't have a lot of run in us and I wonder whether the short week or accumulation of a few short weeks over the last month zapped the energy too much.

Well I agree with some.

  • Kennedy is really showing what he can become
  • Cloke was okay but Goal Kicking was not as good and went missing in 2nd half a bit
  • I really liked what I saw from Witts
That is all at the Moment
 
Witts another excellent game.

JT with 67 rankings points in just over a quarter was good as well I thought.

Kennedy excellent.

Pendles another great game

Cloke was good again, burnt a few shots as usual though

For all the hate Young will get I thought he played a pretty good game. Finishing in front of goal undid most of his work though
 
I thought Adams had a Real Crack and tried to get the Hard Ball. Though his stuff up did like young’s Goal Kicking hurt a bit too
 
Young boys got another game into them, hopefully whole team will see this as a wake up call (although dogs and hawks should have done that).

Well I agree the Dogs and Hawks game should of kicked them up the Backside. So I am not Holding my Breath with this one

Although i think he should hold his spot. He went at 38% efficiency and can't let that become a trend, especially after he had a few fairly high efficiency games in recent weeks. We know he is capable.

I think like it hard for him to use the ball when he other players are also using the Ball Badly.

Agree he is Capable but it’s hard when team was so down

He was not the only Shocking User of the Ball Though

But isn’t that a Negative. Where we should of won Easily but our Execution was Disgusting?
 
It's hard to be efficient when your team mates aren't marking or getting the ball you give to them, although our kicking and decision making in general was shocking, the players that were supposed to be on the receiving end weren't doing much either. Several times I saw players letting the Suns to get a turned-over ball, when your team mate makes a mistake you need to do your best to cover it

No the negative is that we lost but that is obvious. The positive is that we were were absolutely dominating for a lot of the game in every facet but he scoreboard. (and the clearances - but let's not talk about those)

Well the Scoreboard is the only thing that really matters.

You Dominate and don’t win makes it look Pathetic
 
The positive is the absolute negative, as now we can see who we are. They had no rotations for fifteen minutes in the last quarter of the game. Swap scores and situation to us and we would have gone down by 50 points.
 
Letting was probably the wrong word, some players probably could have just done a bit more. We have a young team that is still learning when to peel off your man and when not to, where to go and where to kick to
 
I really can't see Pendlebury winning the brownlow.
Kennedy, Fyfe and possibly even franklin are all ahead
