Round 8? oh that would be the match where the bombers spent more time kicking at Chris Judd than the footy. Yep great comeback
So you have watched Essendon more than once this season, you seem a little confused. May not have been a great comeback, but it's managed to make you look stupid.

Good on you for realising when you were wrong.

As for the spoon oh well, chalk it up to life experience, I've been pretty lucky with the Dons my whole life. The law of averages says we have to be bad some time. It's not fun, but a little pain will make it sweeter when we rise again.

Still not convinced we'll win the spoon. Carlton were far and away the worst team in 2003 but didn't finish last.

Exactly, why lock it in yet. We can beat Carlton, Hawthorn and even Richmond if we have a good day on that day lol. Heck, even Collingwood is a possibility because you just never know, I know I know, I'm an optimist but it's what I believe.

People say they can't see us winning a game for the rest of the year, but I can't really see Carlton winning too many more games themselves

He certainly has great hands on the lead. He could potentially have had 6 goals in the last two games which is more than decent. Its a shame he's the master of the shank.

Solomon's bump on Sinclair was another positive for me.

solomons whole game was a positive he attacked hard and didnt look as slow as i thought he was earlier in the season, he should be retained next season.

Blangerang, you just made a complete d*ck of yourself on a Essendon board.

Well done on going out of your way to post on a clubs board you have no affiliation with and lose all credibility in 2 posts.

lol, not bright are you?

I think credit's gotta be given where it's due.
I thought Mark Bolton played a very good game tonight, except for that screw up handball
agree.. Bolts was good against the Roos.. As was Reynolds.. but agree he does need goal kicking practice... Thought Dyson was actually a big part of some of our big mistakes.. Dont get me wrong, im a huge fan of Ricky, but he lacks just a little courage in contests.. Campo was ok too... Finally.:thumbsu:

And a couple of dropped marks ;)
He is going ok but that is our problem. Bolton shouldnt be in our best 22 and currently he is :(

Of course he should be in the best 22. He has been one of our best players this year, whether you like it or not. I don't particualry "want" him to be among our best this year either, but he is.

And that proves what most of have suspected over the last 8 years, or so. That Bolton would make a very good players in a reserves standard side, which is what he is playing in at the moment.

He is garbage in a good side.

Bolton is usually the uglyer chick in a pack of absolute stunnas, but this year he's the average looking chick you take home coz the rest of the quality is sh--t house and its last call.

Im also a fan of ricky's, I think he has great potential. But doubts are starting to arise about wether or not he will make it. Im not sure of his stats on friday but he seemed to be missing for lenghty periods in the game. I thought he was coming along nicely late last year getting some real confidence, but he seems to have lost it a bit and its shown in his form so far this year. At once stage on friday he got the ball on the back 50 was reasonably clear but instead of running forward or kicking it long he sort of stuttered and then handballed sideways to a player who was closely surrounded by 3 north players. I hope he turns it around in the rest of the season and gets plenty of game time.

I think you completly missed my point.;)
I was not saying he shouldnt currently be in our best 22 on form. He should be as he is not one of our worst week in and week out. What i was saying is the problem is he is in our best 22 at the moment which basicly say a lot about our side doesnt it
