You can bet "our" people have talked to "his" people just like every other switched on club and you can also bet "our" people have talked to every "other" decent player's people that suits our needs...it's what they do and get paid for....

Bet there's also plenty of the player's managers that have put out " feelers" to "our" people too along with every other club, it's what they do....

Don't think we are allowed to speak to the ACTUAL player officially until trade week??

The tricky bit is getting the players signature on a contract.....

He has issues with his patella tendons - he got sent to Europe to have them fixed - the injury this year was unrelated apparently, even though it was the same spot. As far as I understand it, it's probably more structural than chronic or degenerative (looking at who is surgeon was - who is the best in the world too). That said, you'd be dark if you got him and he went down again.

holding onto dangerfield would be a great trade period really. if he does go, we have to go hard at some real talents. bennell and the such, and hope we can get brad crouch's injuries sorted, because i dont think we could get anyone as close to what danger brings.

We need to realise it's actually quite difficult to trade in players. You've got to get the player to want to and then sort out a trade.

We might get one player, two if we are lucky. Posts that suggest we could bring in 3-4 players are delusional.

Agreed, this has been true in he past and I suspect it will be the case this year also, however we now have twice as many picks to trade out if we want (2016s also) so I think the average trades per team will increase slightly.

We could also end up with more picks if Danger leaves (FA compensation picks/traded in picks).

I think 2-3 players is reasonable depending on what Danger does.
