If we ended up with pick 9, Cockatoo, Anderson then whatever few pick changes and maybe Talia and a fit Brad Crouch then don't play spuds like VB, Mackay and Wright then next season might as well book us in for top 6 finish. Could definitely come out a lot better with the Danger situation, not just even or slightly above but depth galore everywhere and be a flag threat again finally.

Just to clarify, Dwayne Russell said the crows wanted pick 9 + player because they feel they are in the premiership window now. They don't just want picks. Russell thought that player was cocky, but said Geelong wouldn't do that.

Spot on, i know geelong and adelaide have not spoken to cocky or his manager at all about a trade or part of the paddy deal

If they give us two picks we can then on trade them for our own targeted players. Cockatoo is a pipe dream obviously. Not sure we are in a premiership window but we aren't in dire need to plunder the draft. One or two players to replace Danger in the middle (Anderson, redden, aish) and we may be in ok shape to push for finals again.

it's the quality we deserve, but Geelong won't part with him. And if course it is under, we won't get near fair value for him, but if we match and go close, I'd be reasonably ok with the outcome.

This guy would make our best 22 right now - out MooKay in JED ...... Would be a start to replacing Dangers speed but we still need more, Nakia (or omeone with equivalent like speed) would fit it well alongside Jed.

I don't know enough about Anderson to comment but feel even if B Crouch fit it isn't enough to cover the loss...

Thommo is on his last year & M.Crouch is still too early to be an A-grader so my fear is we have too many B-graders in our mids with an ageing A-grader(Thompson) and a injury question A-grader(B.Crouch)

So my confidence is in disagreement with yours

I would like to see a developed A-Grader mid with proven durability

That is potentially too much for Redden but I'm dead keen on him.

Would be brilliant to add a seriously good tackler, especially with Danger out and Thompson nearly done.

Despite constant repeats of Redden wanted to go to the Eagles I cannot find any quotes from him confirming this; does anyone know who Redden's manager is?

Seems inept if Aish and Redden are available/wanting to leave yet we're not right in the running for both. I hope we've been in their managers' ears all season.
