Tough one that. He's on the fringe, but I daresay (and I thought this all season so could be wrong), that he's due for an extended run. If we lose (god forbid!) to the Weagles, then I can see young players like Cheney being played regularly regardless of form. That said his AFL + VFL form has been quite solid, so he should be back in soon enough whatever happens this week.
Problem is Petrenko is in a similar situation- except scores poorly when in.
So to summarise- your boned
And keep Cheney. Only just though!

I'm not sure if you'd really bother buying too many Melbourne players. If I had a DT this year, I'd have bought Grimes at the start for a bargain and that'd be about it.

I picked up Wheatley for my premium dt side a couple of weeks ago, as he was a bit of a dt gun last year

Yes. Its the reason why he didnt debut round one.
Keep an eye on it, if his back is no good they will not risk him given how young he is and might put him on ice for rest of year. Thats a real worse case scenario but quite possible.

Doubtful Spencer will play this week. Came back from a couple of minor injuries in the Casey reserves last week, so more then likely will play at Casey this week, with PJ into the Dees team.
