I must be a rare breed, I don't yell abuse at the TV if I'm not at the game and I don't yell abuse at our players, (despite feeling disappointed at times).
When Jarrad Waite centres the ball and we get a goal from it, now that's a whole new story - "Thanks Jarrad, your goal - Ya Dud"

I'm the opposite. Quiet at the footy (other than to supporter or yell for a goal) but a huge screamer at home. Pace the room, bang the couch, leave the room and at the end of the game apologise to the family and neighbours.

Nothing to do with point scoring or dick swinging ...

... the gameday thread was simply a hell of a lot more entertaining than the post match thread.

It was a friggen Shakespearean masterpiece of tragedy, angst, challenge and triumph - against the odds - over the inner demons of self doubt.

I am the same. I'll yell "Ball" when required, sing the song or get in on the chant at every opportunity, but otherwise I'm very polite, even conversing with oppo supporters like they only have one head.....
I don't think it's fair to inflict my illness on others in public....only the cat knows the depth of my addiction.

And at the time we certainly were.
In fact the way we were fumbling and simply not getting to the contest, we could have been worse than Carlton.
Maybe I was paying us a compliment?

Good thing we were the team of the century in that third quarter then right? We regressed back to about 2012 Collingwood in the last but luckily that was good enough. Who do you think we need to be to beat Melbourne?

Ironing is Delicious Bruce.
But, as stated earlier, this thread was started in response to a suggestion by someone in the post game thread to simply take the attacks out of the thread.
It was being stunk up pretty bad.
I still hold the opinion that the game day thread is a place for passionate supporters to comment on what is happening on the ground at the time.
I still hold the view that the people who come back from the game to mine the game day thread so they can compete in a bit of dick swinging are not avoc countable footprint their comments at the game because they are not recorded.
I'm waiting for the wambulance.
But apparantly they ain't coming my way this week.

P.S. May have to start a pot shot thread each week, as I'm not about to change and I'm sure other posters feel the same.

Yep, team of the century, playing arguably the chokers of the century.
Was fantastic to watch.
Still doesn't excuse the Carltonesque first half.
