State of emergency declared in Victoria this morning. Would be ridiculous if they try and proceed in the face of that.

1 month State of Emergency declared in Vic as of 12pm today.

We going to start taking bets on when Gil will pull the plug?

4.30pm Wednesday would be my guess.

Will be all over by this arvo IMO. VFL has already pulled the plug. Doubt the AFL will be far behind.

How hard is it?

Just postpone the season 2 months and then reassess at the time.

If everything is ok, play a 17 round season (play each other once). Get rid of the byes and the bye before the finals start. Can still have the grand final on the last Saturday of September.

i like this a lot. it's my preferred structure for an AFL season regardless of anything else.
