Nah **** the OP, I've never been so mad about a result of a football game in my life. I hate blaming umpires for a loss but they are hands down without a doubt one of the biggest factors as to why Melbourne were able to hold on. Absolutely disgraceful, and I'm even more ******* pissed because that's just how it is, the umpires will trundle on home all proud of themselves at how good they were today, and no one will question them.

Yeah, we ****** up at times too, but you can't sit there and say we only had ourselves to blame. There was two sets of rules, and **** off if you think otherwise. I'm not interested in debating that point with anyone.

It's no secret I don't rate Ramsey at all but he is our best shut down defender since we got rid of Marley and would have been an ideal match up for Garlett who was arguably their second most influential player on the day.

Our coach thought Smith was a better option.

For that alone he should **** off into obscurity never to be seen near our coaching ranks again.

Terrific game of footy.
We controlled first half and should have been further in front but they ran all over us in the second half.
Can't complain about the effort but they had a line breaker like Hunt and we didn't.
Our lack of pace can hurt us at times as we rarely get an easy goal.
We lack skill but certainly not heart.

The game should have been run and done in the first half.... but we just continued to turn the ball over direct turnovers kicking sideways in D50 or kicking to a position that's easy to rebound across our F50. Adams was the main culprit. Less then 2 minutes to WHE marks centres to Adams and instead of kicking long to the hot-spot he tries to hit JDG wide on the 50 - turn over Watts goal. Game over. We just missed Goldsack, he plays on Petracca and he would not have that influence.
