Yep, I had a chuckle to myself when I saw that.

^^ Most of your complaints stem from not knowing the controls and how to play. Give it time, RTFM, master the controls and you'll enjoy it a lot more. You won't be the first to eat your words.
-Picking your team OMFG is all i can say who ever idea it was to make picking you starting team like that need taken out the back and hit over the head. How easy and common scene to have a photo of a ground with the players names. and make it simple to change and fix players.
Overall id give it a 2/10 and that 2 is only for trying to make a AFL game

Yep, sure did put them away. It might well be the best AFL game yet, but not sure what this means, just because it's an AFL game I have to play it? I appreciate how AFL could be quite difficult to create, but I can't pay $110 for this. This is not because I am a bad player and it's sour grapes, ask the boys on bigfooty who couldn't get within 10 goals of me! Look, it's a starting point, and they will work on it, hopefully take into account some feedback from everybody. It's something to build on for the next title.
the only downer is the camera view, the default view is the best, but it's still too far, if it were 10% closer it would be a lot better.
I definitely Lol'ed at that bit.-Picking your team OMFG is all i can say who ever idea it was to make picking you starting team like that need taken out the back and hit over the head. Yes! That's why I turned music off. I did this yesterday arvo and I still have it stuck in my head...I have noticed that as I go about my daily life, I find myself singing "Holy Grail". Anyone else have this issue?
Ok, I don't want to have a go at you too much because you're a good bloke. But this is a BADDDDDDDDDDDDDD idea, VERY, VERY bad.I don't understand why it can't be a one touch system. If you are going to use this lock on system, why can't we just press x, even if they are 50 metres away? If you are locked on to a player sprinting out to the wing, it would be kicked to his advantage, etc. I also think that things like stab passes should be automatic when kicking to a leading target while sprinting. Maybe use the modifier with pressing square to just boot it long if you are trying to get a quick clearance kick or have a quick shot at goal from the stoppages. That would be a low percentage kick, but that's real.
Dude, why would people do anything that would potentially learn them the game more? They've played A game so they should instantly know how to do everything and dominate every difficulty.^^ Most of your complaints stem from not knowing the controls and how to play. I agree, much rather clicking on a player in a specific position and getting the best rateds for those positions.I definitely Lol'ed at that bit.
But seriously, once you get use to it, it is extremely fast and easy.
Probably the only one that was allowed to be licensed at the end of the day?confused at why freo's heritage jumper is their away jumper from last year, also noticed in one of the tutorial pictures they have freo's green, red and purple jumper, some of the jumpers are also a little bit off.
It's clearly a balancing issue for why they don't allow perfect 50 metre bombs every time from just a click of the X button. It simplifies the game way too much and on top of that is the one of the biggest reasons why the previous AFL games were dross.
You can't make things like kicking it 50 metres easy because then it turns the game into JUST that, kicking 50 metres everytime and just getting too close to your goal in too little kicks. Occasionally you'll be able to go end to end in a few kicks like this, but that's the way it should be...occasionally.
If you get some time and space in the game you can get a nice big kick out and bomb it long to a target. If you're not getting the time and space you'll be able to put a 10-20 metres kick out. This for me is absolutely perfect and stops the game from being way too simple and easy. I get your frustrations, but for the sake of the game staying challenging this style HAS to remain.
I do agree about your tactics thing, would like to see more than just a few options for this and that and be able to open it up a bit more (but again can see why for balancing issues this is not the case)
I do get what you want and mean. But I really dislike the idea of having anything that can potentially open up too much space with a kick. The tight space and having to work to your own free room is probably my most liked part of the game, if just for the reason it is SO unlike the other AFL titles.I don't mean for the kicks to be lace out on the tit every time, I hope you didn't think I meant that. But that's fair enough and I understand that, because yes, as you said, the way the game is meant to be played, when you have the space and time you can get a nice long kick in. I still think there should be some type of clearance kick. Something just to boot it a little further from congestion, or to have a pot shot at goal. Some low percentage kick, but yes, I understand why it's not there.
Oh k I get it. Maybe a dynamic tagging system? There's been stuff like that implemented in games before, if someone is dominating or playing too much of the same way the AI will adjust to fix that and stamp it out. Probably best seen and used in the cricket games. And it's not just on the users end either, I am talking about the AI too. This is probably my biggest gripe, as I was slightly annoyed that I beat Collingwood on legendary by 220 points by making Hudson an attacking ruckman. He kicked 20 goals, it would be good if the AI at least tried to counter that somehow. It's these things that just disappoint me a little, not so much general play etc, because it's very rewarding to chip the ball around in general play, get a chain of handballs, slot some goals from the boundary, etc. Tactics like flooding, forward press etc, would be sweet, but a ballbreaker to get right, so I can understand that, for sure.

I hear you.I love the challenge of it. I've said this many times before, but because of how tight the games always are with stoppages etc, the feeling when you're 20 metres clear of the nearest player and hit some lace out on the lead is unbeatable.![]()
well if you beat me, you will get it. But that's a pretty big if! 7-0Still yet to get the BigAnt employee badge, but will keep trying.![]()
