Florent/Hayward both took a while to physically develop and were criticized on the forums for their form at various stages.

But I felt they both brought a lot of freshness to the side. A skinny medium forward who was kicking goals in his first season. And the evasive outside mid who gave us a bit of run in midfield. I can't really imagine not having them. They felt like the beginning of the rebuild (even though we had Papley, Mills and Aliir debuting in 2016).

Hayward has been on fire this later half of the year, and he's been playing well for most of it. Love the kid.

Our club has a brilliant culture & no matter what player comes into our system, provided they buy in to our system they are GUARANTEED to have the best brought out of them in our team environment. It doesn't matter how high or how low a pick they were drafted to our club with.
If there has ever been any doubt in the last 20 years I now know there is no doubt.

Ok. So not all is well in the Collingwood cheer squad. There’s a new man in town that wants to be the next Joffa. Apparently his only motivation is to get his head on the screen. They’d be ok with him leading the chants, that’s fine. Problem is he is a shit bloke.

Now one of the young ones. Let’s call her Jay’d. she seems like a Jay’d. she’s had to send a text to Josh last night because he’s been treating her poorly over the last 3 months. Now she doesn’t think she’s being unreasonable to expect a little attention in public. She’s very proud of the way she handled it too. She wrote it like an essay. With full sentences and paragraphs and stuff. The other ladies think she has handled it so well and they are so proud of her. Jay’d, maybe the fact you can’t get through a sentence without dropping the f bomb might be turning him off.

Now we’re all concerned about Let’s call her Shirley. Apparently Shirley must be something of a secretary for the Collingwood cheer squad. Now poor Shirley according to Karyn, daughter Jay’d and their friend Carol isn’t getting the attention she deserves for all her hard work. The scummy men in the Cheersquad are making it all about them while she has been doing all the hard work. Sad right. Within the next breath though we hear that Shirley was selling raffle tickets but butchered the job. Didn’t sell enough, didn’t explain it properly. Maybe Shirley isn’t getting the attention because she buggers everything up?

Oh and tragically Jay’d can only miss 4 more school days this year before she falls below 90% attendance and fails the year. It’s alright dear, there always the unemployment option.
