Yup, they sure did. I dont think Port have any room to critise anyone again, I've never seen a cheer squad leave early, most perplexing.

Port supporters leaving early copped more flack than those who stuck it out to the end of the game.

Look every side has soft supporters, but for the cheersquad to leave early in unheard of & absolute disgrace.

Perhaps Rooch could do an article on the proud traditions of PAFC's cheer squad this week.

I copped it sitting in my seat, then at the end of the game.

Had I left early I suspect I would have copped it also.

Their cheer squad in bay 131 left halfway through the 3rd quarter, much to the disgust of every power supporter in the section i was in (which was all but 8 or 9 of us crows supporters)

But in the Port cheer squads defence, maybe they had to leave - had to be home in time for lights out at Yatala

Seriously, all the Port supporters leaving early was a disgrace. They call themselves 'true' supporters. I know Crows supporters do this a lot (which annoys me), but I've never seen our supporters do it to a level the Port supporters did, and as much as our cheer squad gets criticised on this forum, at least they never leave before the end of a game.

I think that you'll find that the Port cheersquad didn't leave the game halfway through the last quarter as you have suggested as they were right down the front of bay 131 or 132. They left when the final siren went..

So i think you owe them an apology.

The Port Adelaide Football Club Cheer Squad did NOT leave early - I was in a position to see. There may have been one idiot that did, and raised his message to all and sundry as he did so. But no, they didn't.

But there were are lot of Port supporters behind them that did. And we who stayed till the end to support our team, no matter how badly they were being creamed, think less of them than you do.

Don't the Port cheer squad sit directly behind the Northern goals, as there was a huge amount of vacant seats from half way through the last quarter. Any person staying to the end of the game would have seen this.

I commented to the people around me about this during the game.

Say what you like but there would have been lucky to be 50% of them left for the last part of the last quarter.
