warrandyte 263 in reply olinda 5-270 big 6 months for the town in footy i think the ofc won by 8-10 goals over kinglake:thumbsu:

Was just having a look through the EFL transfer pages & just noticed Sean Toohey has requested a transfer to Silvan.

Also any reason David Taylor has left Monbulk l thought he was enjoying his time in the valley.

Olinda beat The Basin by 2 points.

Thats what you want - a nice close contest. Chirnside hosted Yarra Glen yesterday in a good hard fought contest. Chirny were too fit in the end and ran out winners by about 3 or 4 goals. Both teams looked impressive with Chirny more accurate in front of goal.

From Monbulk's web site:
All 3 grades played Boronia today at Monbulk and whilst all 3 sides were beaten by Boronia the coaches all tried out a few blokes in different possies, as well as giving some U 18 players a taste of reserves and senior footy.

We also had plenty of our better players missing and a few guys playing in 2 games to blow out some pre season cobwebs.

The 18's and ressies were beaten soundly and the seniors got within a point late in the 3rd but Boronia kicked in the last to run out winners bu 4 or 5 goals.

We have our final hit out in a fortnight at Moorolbark

Have you ever known a team to play at full-strength in a Praccy match?

Every team you speak with has 9 players out....

Precisely why I distanced myself from the text! But I still love the parochialism!
Practice matches can be very misleading, even with full sides. They actually have more importance to footy departments than supporters, but we still like to win and when we don't, we fall on the old 'we had half the side missing' line.
Welcome back, MK. You have been missed.
