The background: There are two sisters, one aged 19 and the other aged 17. The younger one uses the older one's ID to go to clubs without their parents' knowledge.
The prank: We rang the younger one, pretending to be a policeman saying that we understand she may have been using her sister's ID to gain entry to nightclubs. She was at a party and couldn't quite hear everything I was saying, but got bits and pieces. We proceeded to leave a voicemail on the older sister's phone with the same information, and requested that they call 000 to ''sort this issue out''.
The backfire: The idiots panicked and decided to own up to the parents. The four bright sparks then decided to actually call 000, "because the guy on the phone told us to".
The luck: After having a think they realised who had done it, but fortunately they didn't dob in the culprits and as such I haven't been charged with impersonating a police officer or tying up an emergency phoneline.
The lesson: Don't play a prank of that magnitude on a pair of blonde sisters.
Anyone else played a prank that hasn't quite gone to plan?
