hes slow as treacle and poor disposal but built like a shite truck. im expert and seen this a million times before. will be delisted end of this year or next

last one was matty arnott

Despite battling injuries at times throughout the year, McAuliffe placed in the top ten in three of the physical tests at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena, highlighting his well-rounded athletic base.

McAuliffe’s power and speed shone through in the 20m sprint, where he was the fastest South Australian and fifth quickest overall with a time of 2.930 seconds.

Earlier in the combine he was the first Croweater across the line in the 2km time trial, finishing in six minutes and 26 seconds.

The Rooster also featured among the top players in the country in both the running and standing vertical jumps tests, with heights of 95cm andrespectively.

Now we are going to move our best mid in TT out of the midfield for longer to accommodate Prestia in the midfield mix. Someone should have tapped him on the shoulder about retirement last year. If he doesn’t get injured this is going to be a selection problem all year.

Definitely Prestia’s last year. Regardless, Taranto is atleast versatile. Ross and Hopper both struggle at HF so what other option is there ?

Um he’s quick and I’ve seen him lace out a bees dick in F50 from the centre square
Kmac’s got pace, but haven’t really seen the confidence to take plays on with pace, and he can nail long kicks when on the outside but also misweight them and dump them when under pressure. I really like his strength, power, skill and hardness and I’ve got hope that he can put it all together consistently at afl level, we’ve seen glimpses, but there’s still questions to be answered.
🤞

Don’t play Prestia unless TT or hopper are injured
How is this anti-Meatball nonsense even a thing? The bloke is a gun, and we're a much more dangerous force when he's fit and in the team. Nobody uses the footy anywhere near as well as Dion Prestia.

I get that everyone wants the next gen to be fast tracked - we're all extremely excited about our new toys (or at least should be) - but not playing Prestia when he's fit is essentially tanking.

The issue with Prestia is his defensive work rate out of the stoppage and leg speed. Given the AFL wants a faster game with more goals, as dictated by the broadcasters, the question is do we have the players who can offset Dion’s shortcomings.

One of the more impressive skills of TT is his set shots.
He’s actually a bloody good kick for goal so if he’s up forward more this year then I’m all for it.
Bring it on I say.…

i like them all except fawcett , but ill leave my powder dry until they actually show good consistent football

mcaulfie aint gonna make it . in the shots hes had at afl level hes shown sfa
McAuliffe would be the quickest of the lot, maybe Hotton much the same. 5th over 20m in his draft year. But then again, I probably should know better than to reply to one of your serious football posts, if there is such a thing.

Yes he looks quick in games and he has a long left foot, tough as nails, tackles hard and looks a player. Has leaned down, had a great preseason, has played well on the wing as well, has been in the best in every match sim according to PRE.

When did McAuliffe turn into prime Bont with the pace of MRJ?
The glaze factory is in full effect.

He has been on the list just 2 injury interrupted years and put in an encouraging run of games in 2025. Not sure anyone is expecting Bontempelli ii, but there is plenty of reason to be optimistic about where McAuliffe can get to. We'd all love to see him get a clear run with injury this year for a start.
