Pre-season Training

First preseason training starts tomorrow -- and its about freaking time too!
Channel 9 says that Carey wouldn't be training as the club wants to ease him in. According to the AFC site, its only meant to be the start for the 0 - 5 years experience players so alot of the older, more experiened players probably won't be there either.

As Kane McGoodwin also mentioned in another thread, Bickley's got a post-op infection, which happens a lot of the time. But its nothing a good dose of antibiotics won't fix, so he should be alright and be back.

Thank god its all starting, waited a long time for this. Bring on 2003, I see.

Anyone gonna head down to take a peak?

Yeah, I'm planning to head over to West Lakes and catch a training session sometime in the near future.....though I'll probably wait until the likes of 'The King' and Rocking Ronnie get out there.....Reidy said on 5AA it was best to give the club a call and find out where, when and who are training, so I'll most likely do that in the next week or so.

And yes, I'm excited as well CF, bring on season 2003!

Good to see James Gallagher is fit and keen. Carey looked good on TV. Was'nt training flat out, but just to see him in the colours...Good stuff! Jopefully they will do some training sessions in town, I'll catch them after work.

Didn't he look good - absolutely awesome!!! I was also very impressed with the way that Rocking Ronnie presented himself - looked as lean and hungry as a Biafran on a diet!!

I went a little weak at knees watching the news tonight - The King looked mighty fine to me!!!! Mark Stevens has nothing to worry about - but I have to admit he did look hot, hot, hot to me!

Apparantly Ronnie has been so keen with his training that the club has had to slow him down a bit as there is a long season ahead. Reckon he has got a new lease of life. What are the odds on Carey + Burns scoring more than 100 goals between them?
