I didn't want to create it as a "Changes" thread because it felt like disrespect given the effort the guys just put out, cracking our only remaining long winless streak and getting us one win away from a home grand final appearance.

So consider this the placeholder thread for prelim discussions about the prelim final.

its too early for this, I will just start stressing about how we can possibly lose. (no changes for me, love all the boys)

I'll soak in these winning feelings just a bit more before I wander back into this thread :p

Reckon we'll play Geelong, West Coast or Collingwood? My money's on Geelong, they look like a much stronger team.

I'm assuming West Coast beats the pies, then I'm hoping they can get over Geelong. Don't think West Coast can win two straight finals in QLD.

Geelong will have a point to prove after another QF loss so I'd also put my money on Geelong, their game style is a bit more predictable than Tigers so I'd be reasonably confident against them. I expect it to be a replay of 2004 GF after that if all goes to plan.

I say Eagles beat Pies.
Then Cats beat Eagles in QLD.
So be the Cats which not easier.. Nor the Eagles although 2 in a row away from WA be hard.

I think Port can beat the Tigers as well. Tigers have to beat Saints or Dogs.. Both of those teams can have really good games.

I'm going to change from 4 Pines Pacific Ale to Carlton Draught, or the XXXX Dry if they have it upstairs

Saturday twilight if they follow the structure from last year (highest ranked team who wins the qualifying final plays friday night).

I think they only play the prelim at twilight if one of the teams needs to fly home that night to prepare for the GF, as opposed to playing at night and making them fly back the next day.

Seeing as the only team in the finals based outside of QLD after this week is Port, I would think the game will probably be on the Saturday night as no travel is needed.

I was a nervous wreck for 2 whole days before the qualifier. I think I will just go into a 2 week coma for this one.

Me too, almost turned the telly off during the 4th quarter when the tigers were coming😬

Day light saving starts down south tomorrow so first bounce is at 6:40 for us.
Could be, I didn't notice on the channel 7 graphic if it said standard time or daylight saving.

Edit- You're right I just checked on afl.com
