Not that it mean's anything now but the afl membership twitter feed claims that Rich and Coll AFL club support members were permitted to purchase a ticket at full price during club memeber pre sale on Monday. Was anyone at all awsre of this? First time i've ever heard of that. If i had of known i eould have tried my luck. These campaigners make it up on the fly

Absolutely correct. Afl club support are full Richmond members and entitled to choose to take club tickets if they wish via RFC allocation.. If they do then they cannot double dip and get AFL members finals tickets. The club gets their money the same as yours.

I have a spare junior ticket as my daughter isn’t keen on going. A mate is going to sit in the seat who has a standing room only ticket. I’m happy to sell the spare ticket to someone who is happy to stand and not use the seat. It is a junior ticket though.

Your barcode on your afl membership works the same way as a 11 home GA membership.

I'm a silver afl member and this is how I got tickets this weekend as there's no guest passes.

AFL support get two cards. Richmond with no barcode and AFL with barcode. The AFL card is registered wth the Ticketing agencies as both types and the member can choose to go into either sale but not both.

Very few would choose the club allocation as you have a much better chance via AFL members sale.

The effort by Hagens Berman follows a CBC News/Toronto Star investigation that found Ticketmaster representatives at a Las Vegas convention were recruiting professional scalpers to use a web-based sales tool called TradeDesk to resell millions of dollars in tickets.

Company reps at the convention told undercover reporters posing as ticket brokers that their division turns a blind eye to scalpers who use hundreds of Ticketmaster online accounts to buy up seats — violating Ticketmaster's ticket-buying limits.

Would be 0% surprised to find out Ticketek is the same as this.
