Anyone know how the ticket sales are travelling? Surely we will break 90,000, Hawthorn fans are similar to us, they flock in numbers.
I'm sitting 4th level, Q55, front row. Woke up at one the other day and totally forgot about the tickets, still happy I snagged good seats.

The reason could be one side has about a third of their membership based in Tassie, so a smidgen less then 15,000 members were probably never coming.
Logical thinking
Herald Sun did a break down of the memberships mid year. I can't quite remember it but the Pies 3 game membership numbers were pretty low, and the amount of full and premium memberships were high.Actually, 8,500 of our members come from Tassie. It is true that we have a sizeable interstate membership base in addition to this, but we're still left with about 40,000 Melbourne based members.
To suggest our figures are inflated - given Collingwood's number of 3 game members - is a bit rich.

Even still you'd think this game would have been close to being sold out. Perhaps it being a cold Friday night and the game has already been announced as live on TV has put people off, plus the ticket prices?
