Channel 9 confirmed in their news session tonight that we will be playing our prelim on a Saturday afternoon, with the Sydney prelim played on the Friday night.

If we can win this one, it's a perfect build-up for the Granny with 3 Saturday afternoon games in a row before the GF on a Saturday afternoon.

I'm happy. :thumbsu:

I asked to get the day off today, just hope I'm given it. Unfortunately can't do what I did yesterday (work 5-1130) as the whore who does that is back. It's supposed to be my weekend off, but can still be given the afternoon shift again. It'll be a long wait until Friday to find out :o

Other than the injuries, the other cards seem to be falling our way which is encouraging for once :thumbsu:

But lets concentrate on our next game first. One game at a time :o

Damn wedding!!!

It's good!

IT'S GOOD!

IT'S GOOOOOOODDDDD!!!!!!

...err, it's good.... to see you all in church...

Sit down, Homer.

Should I buy tickets anyway just in case she leaves him at the altar? I might be able to catch the second half...

If I were you, I wouldn't be going ;)

Neither would I.

Just tell each of them separately that you just can't come and watch them make the mistake of their life - I'm sure they'll understand. :D

Hmmm, if I don't go to the wedding they'll save on catering. I'd actually be doing them a favour.

Last year I was invited to a wedding being held on the GF day. On the very off chance that we would make it, I politely declined the invite.

When my cousin was getting married he was going to have his wedding in september, my reply to that, great if you don't want me there. He changed it to november after our little chat :thumbsu:

People and their plans...

Mrs MD was due to give birth on a home game.......

I'm sure it's not a coincidence that after a few stern words - the bubs was born 2 days late....:thumbsu:

Why people get married on football days in September is unbelieveable????

We got married the day after GF 96 and were a bit sad that the swannies and the big fella lost. That way I always roughly remember the date.......:thumbsu:

I have since negotiated my mother-in-laws 75th around PF in 2003 (she celebrated it in August and NOT September) and many family events.

My sad sister who just doesn't understand the footy- excpet for Sav Rocca's meaty thihgs!!- can't comprehend why I am glued to the radio, tv and this website for the winter months.

Footy is life, there is nothing else!!!

Hopefully it's 2 Port fans.

We don't want to see any confused half breeds eventually wandering around. :D
Protect Australia 2007 - Help prevent the spread of the Port Adelaide Disease. Support Inbreeding. :D

On a side note, this reminds me of these two guys who shop at Noarlunga. Occasionally they bring their sister along with them, who has two kids. Guess who fathered the kids?
