all suck
Obviously the results of 1 game with no premiership points attached is no indication of how H&A will go, but... I can't help but feel the 'preseason ladder' is actually not that far off

The following will almost certainly happen:

Worst Coast win b2b spoons :whitecheck:
Horf bottom 4 again :whitecheck:
Fold Coast and Failmantle struggle :whitecheck:
Swines, Tuggers and Bloosers confirmed as pretenders :whitecheck:
Handbaggers and Bummers just miss the 8/just make the 8 and get KO'd in week 1 :whitecheck:
Welfare and Crom return to the 8 (although not that high up) :whitecheck:
Flagpies, Brions, Straight Setters, the other Straight Setters, Aints and the Great unWaShed play finals again :whitecheck:

The only clear anomaly is lolnorf but even that game was indicative... they will write cheques they can't cash before finishing bottom 4 again

I'm on about footy

In 2023 Pies, Lions, Porf, GWS, Dreamons and STK played finals and Crom should have. Cats, Bummers, Tuggers and Failmantle missed finals and Swines should have. Worst Coast won the spoon and lolnorf, Horf and GCS rounded out the bottom 4

Do you really think the above is going to change radically in season 2024? Because it's not

I've always gone by the theory that if you were a top team the year before then preseason doesn't really mean much. However, if you are one of the bottom teams or out of the 8 then preseason means a bit more so if your getting belted in the preseason and you struggled the year before the signs aren't good.
