Hmm so it all depends on whether they grant him reputable for a gaming license as to whether he stays on as president?

With the systems he has put in place since his appointment if he was to leave (meant to be going end of 08 anyway) we are in a good enough position atm for someone like Fahour (if that's how you spell it) to come in and take that position.

Pratt was only going to be there for a year and then step down to allow someone else to take over.

Hard to see the outcome of this after all Pratt & Visy are separate legal entities. I wouldn't put much store in what some richmond supporting academic describes as "not a good look" yeah has beat up written all over it.

I thought the admission was knowing more now than back then, will wait and see how this pans out. Still Pratt has done an enormous amount for the club already.

I don't think this is an issue, Carlton has put everything in place to get them back on top. Pratt helped you tremendously, but it won't be a big blow since his job is basically done.

Yull probably find even if he was kicked out for any reason.. (its not happening) his son returns from the USA next month...
Alot of people are hoping were just hanging on cos of Pratt....
The club is doing amazing things... and it has the full backing of everybody and the purse strings of the many not the few...

There are quite a few announcements to be made very soon.

I doubt he will be turned down actually. He oversees the company from a height and his philanthropic nature will hold him in good steed. I will be very surprised if this becomes an issue, regardless of how obvious it is that Gleeson wants it to be.

I don't really care about this Pratt business, and it's better he goes and doesn't tarnish our good name.

But at least he kicked things along, got a decent admin in place and dropped some stolen money our way to fix up the gym and stuff!

I really don't get it... sounds more like a behind the scenes Caro driven article to me...

A guy at my work well connected would not be surprised if it could even be a Bruce Mathieson behind the scenes ploy to try to get the presidency and put two and two together and leaked this info.

Who knows... but of all the good things that Pratt has done with charities and behind the scenes and to repair our brand I can't see us being revoked. A lot of other gaming venues have figures running the show of not so great a character.

I was thinking the same thing actually. In fact, does anyone use those poker machines anyway. Anytime i've been in there recently, nobody has been using them. Why not just send them back to Aristocrat, or wherever they cam from.
