Does anyone have stats on how well our rookies have done compared with other clubs?

West Coast have done particularly well with rookies.

We've had Lockyer, Maxwell, O'Brien, Wellingham, Clarke and to a lesser extent MacAffer, Cox and Toovey who've shown something and made it into a senior spot. There will be others but that's just off the top of my head from the current list.

Michael, Dimattina, Pugsley, and Hill were all rookies who played senior games. Only Michael was quality. In fact, Michael would probably be among the top four or five players to come off any club's rookie list.

Justin Crow played one game for us too. I presume he was off the rookie list as well.

Cool, goes to show how important the rookie draft is. Can be very very fruitful with astute drafting.
