if this is the case, i hope when wallace had them locked up for an hour after the match he had a nice big white board there Titled "Trade me at seasons end" and invited the players to write their names up there if they dont want to be here - i'm still so gutted from this loss and trying to make some sense of it - the way the played was ridiculous - the more i think about it, the more i think that something foul was going on - if this was cricket, wallace would be dead in a hotel room today

foley can be excluded, and i think richo and petts as well - at least they showed some attempt to try and stop it

no sh1t sherlock - but it was the way we were crap - i can't understand how you can have pretty much - 20 -22 individuals all be so disinterested in front of 40,000 people at the start of a match - they ain't normal

i can get 10-12 players not being on or something, just not on the game - but not nearly everyone - that is unusual

Gasper has always been a pussy theres no way known he would want to play for coburg so he took the easy way out. Surely this was the best thing for the club. To give the kids ago in his place. To come out and play like they did last night Any player regardless of who that is not proud to wear the yellow and black jumper should get the sack as well.

Gasper has played ok this season and should have remained in the senior team. Mediocre player ! you have swallowed the crap that Wallace is spewing , the only thing mediocre is Wallace, the most over rated coach in the game.
We have suffered more crushing losses under this goon than any coach we've had.
50 GAMES AND ANOTHER 60 to go before we can get rid of him.
This should have been the year we should have put pressure on the top 8, now Wallace has taken us to the bottom, maybe it's his twisted revenge on us for sacking him as a player.

i never said i made the comment, i basically heard someone saying it before the game - not even someone i knew - just a few blokes having a beer in the livewire before the game - i smirked to myself when i heard it because it sounded like crap - but on the back of the performance, it certainly was something i remember. i've never EVER heard someone make such a comment before a game - and the one time i do, i basically see the alleged team playing worse than i have ever seen them - and i have seen them play bloody bad at times.

i certainly don't think richo was in on such a thing, cos i agree - he never gave me the impression that he wasn't trying to do something. but you must agree, the body language during the game from start to finsh was poor, more so - odd.
players barely supported each other, even in morale. this is so vastly different to the west coast game - i don't think i even saw richo crack it at the boys for stuffing up!

very well could be the saddest moment i have seen the club be in, and the timing is pretty weird. a week were two players have been disciplined for seperate off issues, and a veteran pretty much sacked - which lets face it - he was. he sounded like he got the andrew kellaway talk. thats 2 veterans in 6 months who have left after very long - and good willed careers - feeling bitter and used - thats not something that has happened much at any other club.

the side lacked structure and direction we desperately need to find a big bodied fb and a big strong rebounding chb. also we need both simmo and knobel up and running. to add to this we need 2 strong bodied on ballers who can get their hands on the ball first to help foley and tuck these 2 are under siege every time they go near the ball.

Our mainly junior team were completely blown away in the first 15 minutes of the game and never recovered. We don't have the senior leadership in numbers or quality to resettle them. I seem to remember that in one of our floggings (vs Swans) our backline was Hall and McGuane and the same thing happened. McGuane is a third tall at best and Moore is a small defender.

Ungently needed at Tigerland:
1. Real fullback (not Thursfield)
2. A Young ruckman
3. Two ball winning mids with big bodies!

Not recruits either - mature players (4th yr +)

When we have these in place we may start to move up the ladder.

I'm feeling you anger but the second you said Pettifer is excluded from critisim you lost all credibilty with your comments.

I don't believe that professional sporstmen with 30,000 paying members behind them would throw a game because an old has been was told his number was up.

The second point being that Pettifer is and was useless. He got the pill a few times but his posession were uncontested (can u recall the last time he won a 50/50 ball?) and he wasn't damaging..... His opponent mind you.....
