PS3 & My 720p TV

No it doesnt, considering most owners out there have Sub HD TVs and no issues have been raised about your concern.

Well considering 99.5% of games are made for native 720p resolution, you would guess its the ideal setup and is a non issue.

The only downer is you wont get a Full HD picture when you play Blu-Ray movies as they support 1080p, but it will still look good .

And get a HDMI cable.

Yep, most games are 720p. Only blu-ray's are 1080.

I have a 720p tv, and PS3 looks great on it. If I remember right the PS3 allows you to choose 720p, if it doesn't do it automatically.

Yeah, like Nicko said, just make sure you get a HDMI cable. It makes a huge difference.

The PS3 will set up automatically and should detect that your TV is only capable of resolutions up to 720 and hence all games will be played at that resolution.
