i think we lack 1 more quality small defender, IMO king is too small and his kicking is too unpredictable, we dont know how Raines will come back after injury, McMahon is more of an outside type defender, Tambling i think is more suited from past the centrline (body not strong enough in 1 on 1's)

so i think this is a a smart move for richmond, if we dont go this way i would like to see richmond go for a quick, crumbing sml/medium forward, possibly indigenous to tkae over from brown in a couple of years, because i think edwards is good enough to play midfield once he beefs up and conners strengths are in the air rather than crumbing

however the only sml forward of this category is charlie shaples, so not sure he warrants a spot on full list maybe rookie list at best

klemke certainly has some question marks over him but i guess that's why we've got him down to train to take a closer look.

in the article they mentioned 2 other young players are down at training vying for the one psd spot....would love to find out who they are.

i'm with you that we should pick up a quick crumbing forward. but i think it would probably be with rookie pick. i believe there are plenty of them around, not just sharples. but we will pick one up...it's a need

If we don't take Ben Cousins then we have to take the best available indigenous talent. I am beginning to become very concerned about the number of "brothers" at the club. The reason being is the lack of representation at the dreamtime game. If Tambling is injured and JON does not make it out of Coburg....then we have nada!!!!! Shane Edwards doesn't count by the way. Gone are the days of Phil Egan, David Palm, Michael Mitchell and Mozza Rioli. What about we draft Chris Egan who Collingwood let go. Maybe uncle Phil can get something out of his talent. He was drafted just in front of Danny Meyer so he must be good.

nope this is a bad idea, i grew up with chris and though he has talent and a great leap, his attitude let him down and just doesnt put the effort needed to succeed at this lvl

he's not big enough to be key position and he is too tall to be a crumbing forward. He is a 3rd tall and we have enough of these up forward and down back on our list

imo we should get deboer. should have been picked up in the ND, is athletic, has a massive engine and an extremely determined attitude. ideally cousins would be awesome and no doubt my preference but it seems off the charts. fingers crossed though

can't believe people can be so decisive on who they want to draft, considering all of these guys were passed over on Saturday. If there really is very little between them, then let's put them to the sword and make them earn that spot. What they have done in the past doesn't mean much... just ask JON, Meyer or someone who 'extracted the digit' like Foley...
