PSD querie?

if gardiner and akermanis both fell through to the PSD and i doubt aker will, who would we go for. Also if a good ruckman and midfielder fell through in trade week would we go for the ruckman?

Aker can't fall into the PSD as he is still contracted to the Lions for next year. He'll get traded to the doggies in trade week, otherwise he'll still be on the Lions' list next year.

He'll get traded, don't you worry about that. The Lions would have to then pay him out his contract for next year, which would be about $450,000.

not if he goes into the PSD, then the team that picks him up pays him. I could be wrong but thats what i've been told.

I'm pretty sure I heard that Aker cannot go into the PSD as he still has a contract with the Lions. The Lions won't want to lose him for nothing anyway, so he'll get traded.

Contracted players have to agree to tear up the contract to be allowed to go into the PSD. This is what happened with Ty Zantuck if I'm not mistaken.

Isn't your pre-season draft being used to pick Goddard from the Saints? (out of contract )

Not a tough decision at all.

If we were given this choice, Goddard would be in a Carlton jumper in the next 5 seconds. We do not need Gardiner. STAY AWAY FROM HIM BLUES!!!!! Even if it means we are down the bottom, so be it. NO WAY to Gardiner.
