What are your punting superstitions?
Sometimes we can have unbelievable fortune, whereas other times everything turns to crap.
I've always been a very disciplined punter, but there are often times when I feel the punting gods are against me.
Some examples include: betting on a match where the timekeepers failed to blow the final siren (Round 5 2006 - St Kilda v Fremantle), betting on either team to win a rugby union match - result Tie, playing poker with AK - flopping AAK and losing to a player with 4 7's (turn,river) etc.
Some people have lucky charms, some believe in karma/feng shui, some people have the ability to jinx certainties merely by placing a wager on a horse
, some will turn off the television in the hope that the result will somehow differ from not watching the end of a game.
What silly superstitions do you have as a punter? (and do they work
)
Remember, better lucky than good

Edit: Poor Lenny29, somehow we all knew that when the RBA held rates, that the ANZ would definitely be the one to go up first!
