Tickets for the game have currently been exhausted. There won't be a public sale of tickets today. Keep an eye on the club's socials for any ticket releases closer to the game.

It's not that complicated.

We won't be outnumbered by Collingwood fans. That's not how it works. If we're looking at purely membership % basis, Collingwood has access to 62% and us 38%. That does not mean that every Collingwood member is buying tickets to the match, and it certainly doesn't mean the crowd will be a 62/38 split. Nowhere near it. It'll be mostly Adelaide supporters. But Collingwood fans do travel more than others, so it won't be like the GWS final in 2017 obviously.

At the MCG, 100k there'd be what maybe 15k crows fans who might want to go? I'm fairly sure they'd have no trouble.
Collingwood have about 130,000 members. Should the MCG set aside some tickets for Crows fans? How many?

This just seems wrong to me. You have a home game that's not a grand final, you should get first access.

It's never worked that way.

Finals always go on sale to both teams at the same time.

The AFL has always treated finals as neutral games, so when Collingwood kick goals there will be Collingwood graphics up the screens etc

Port even have to ask for permission from the AFL to do never tear us apart in the finals.

Being a home game, why did our members not get first dibs?
Doesn’t work that way.

Members from both sides can access the available tickets equally.

Yeah I am calling BS on this

No way would that many Collingwood fans be coming over for the game.

Ticket sales were limited to Collingwood members with game entries and the only interstate members with finals access are ones with five game access.
Click bait

I do wonder if the games against West Coast and North were affected by additional training loads, knowing we pretty well had sewn up a top four spot and used the opportunity to increase the loads during the week. Bit of 97 Neil Craig style.

At the very least the guys should be mentally switched on and hungry.

Bring it on.
West Coast in Perth and North away are a bogey side. I'd say it means we're not the typical strength of a top 4 side of past years.

Isn't there tiered memberships? Top tier both clubs should get first access, second for both, or something along those lines then home team members next, then general public any remaining.

Having more members than the home team shouldn't translate to the opposing team having more fans at the game in my view.

This makes more sense, it would seem absolutely bonkers to me that 30K Collingwood fans would fly to Adelaide on a Thursday night for the game. I'd anticipate 15k.

Which post? Your post describes the most likely reality but doesn't discount the conspiracy theory of Collingwood members buying tickets they to prevent Adelaide getting a large Crowd.

So you buy a ticket and not attend the match?

Seriously, some of you are going down rabbit holes of monumental proportions.

Why would a Collingwood fan spend $150-200 to buy a pair of tickets and not attend, to keep the "crowd quieter"?

15k would be excellent for them, and they are very loud. We'll know they're there!
