After a winless season can’t blame them for getting in early, could be big improvers next seasonDo they know it's div 4.. game plan? Prepares? Even read on their Facebook they are doing a "preseason"... crazy times

Should be relegated to Div 5 to be honest. Should be a promotion/ relegation system like the grades above. No point keeping a side in the 4th div comp if they get flogged every week.
There is promotion/relegation. The league wanted 8 teams in div 4 though I believe and Ormeau asked to stay up. They will be a better team next year and also have Mayne and coll Park coming up who will be similar in standard you would think. So wins should be easier to come by.
A new set of coaches isn’t going to improve a team’s success whatsoever. If it were up to me, relegation is what they need and deserve after a shit season.
If a new coach brings along half a dozen mates who can play a bit, it will improve them.
Do you relise what your saying? The coach that is coming in Nick pearson and his support staff will bring/attract quality plus he knows exactly what it takes to be successful he will add some great structures as well ect, its like saying Wynnum and Redcliffe in Div 3 wont improve with their new coaches they've braught in even if they dont bring any new players to the club just the structure's,discipline and knowledge the implement will see the teams improve and sometimes as we have all seen it befor some playing groups respond better to some coaches than others. So im thinking you havnt been around footy to much with a respons such as thatA new set of coaches isn’t going to improve a team’s success whatsoever. I understand your point of view, however I believe improvement doesn't come with a new coach alone. It is a combination of the time, ability and determination of the coaches and players. Look at the Ipswich Cats, they've taken three years to develop into a side that didn't win the spoon, even though no drastic changes have been made.Do you relise what your saying? Coaches are overrated in local footy, not even the best farmer in the world will produce A grade milk from B grade cattle
The difference between and A Grade Coach and a B grade coach are the players they are able to recruit. Then it's just about keeping everyone happy.
Disagree , I’ve known of many c grade coaches whom had the capibily to recruit n bought success which made them seem a lot better and I’ve played under A grade coaches but lacked the capability to recruit n their success suffered especially at clubs with low spending budget and resources to recruit
Div 3 dropping reserves will never happen this was one of the reasons(apart from the travel factor) why the div 3 sides wernt keen on the extending the comp cause clubs like lismore and Ballina couldnt guantee reserves but were going to work hard to try and have them. Reserves in 3rd Div is here to stay sorry and dont be surprised if the NSW teams in particular Byron and Tweed come calling again 2019It's an interesting predicament for the likes of Ormeau and Jindalee et al, who want to get to Saturday footy. How to attract enough Saturday players for two teams in a Friday night comp with one team?
Maybe Div 3 needs to drop Reserves for those clubs wanting to play Saturdays but not enough for two teams. Or add another division with Seniors only; but I doubt we have enough players/clubs in Brisbane for another division.

Not a bad idea
Maybe one Friday night comp and one Saturday comp for single teams
As apposed to two Friday night comps

Has been tried, didn’t workMaybe for those aspiring Saturday comp clubs, could play in Div 3 with the Div 4 team as the seniors and the Div 5 as the reserves?
