I was walking through central Amsterdam late one night and one of the church bell towers was playing Girl From Ipanema. No city can top that.

Means 62.5k tickets have been sold but remember there is 13k ANZ members which don't count in the figure. There are only 69k seats on the PAX give and take at ANZ

I reckon they may have flicked the switch on the ANZ stadium members pre booked seats and they are now including them in the figures, thus freeing up any seats they were holding for them back into circulation.

Did they have a cut off date for ANZ members?

Still over 60k is an awesome crowd and the AFL will be very happy with 62.5k!

If only it was a holiday in Amsterdam, which is a great city.

Unfortunately i go straight from the Airport to Leidschendam (which is a boring, soul-less suburb near Den Hague), and i spend the next three weeks writing a user manual in the office there.

If there was no bye, i'd have seen the game last weekend. Instead, i will sit on the plane and hope for the best, and frantically check the score at the lounge in Dubai.

For large events they normally have a food festival thing with food and beer tents. Dare say they will tomorrow
