Question on perception

If one guy turns up to a nightclub with 4 chicks, none of them his girlfriend. Do you automatically assume he's:

b) A loser who can't pick up
c) A Playa
d) Is a tag along

Funny how perception works. Bloke could very well be just out with friends, or even work colleagues, but popular perception is that he's either a tag along or a loser.

The question came from a conversation I was having with a friend a couple weeks ago. My initial perception was that the guy was gay. You know, that one gay friend that all chicks have that becomes "one of the girls" after a while?
